感謝Martin C.和 Jenny Y. 開放他們的家，讓活石的弟兄姊妹一同過感恩節。。

當日豐盛的食物有Justin 火雞，Christine 拿手小菜 和 Martin 的焗火腿和焗點心。

之後有Martin 帶領我們唱詩敬拜，也有Lum Lum 帶領我們以Pictionary 分享感恩事項。

感謝神在過去一年給我們各人許多的祝福！

 

石頭記- 十一月份回顧

感恩節的來臨，實在令人期待，也藉感恩節對自己有許多的提醒。心中想，應怎樣去過的一個感恩節呢? 一般的都是希望與家人團聚，吃一餐豐盛的晚餐，可能去參加Black Friday的購物潮。這些都是很好，很温馨；但在屬靈層面上，我個人認為去數算神的祝福，見證神的慈愛、供應、憐憫、信實、恩典，才是最有意義。要數算神在活石團契的恩典，實在有很多。綜合來說，有以下幾點：

一、從九月份UCI的Outreach當中，召聚了一班新的朋友。

二、活石的職員們，Nancy、Carmen、Lum Lum、本應要為工作的緣故離開Irvine，但奇妙地藉著神的恩典，他們每位都在Orange County找到工作，可以留下來繼續在活石服事弟兄姊妹，今年還有Justin和Jenny的加入，實在令人鼓舞。

三、今年好幾位生命有很大的改變，其中令人最興奮的，就是願意立志信主、或是重新立志，當中有Heidi Ng、Sarah Ng和Benny Kwong。

四、靈命長進: 弟兄姊妹開始各自組成禱告小組、一齊靈修和代禱。眼看神在活石當中的奇妙工作，實在要開口大大的讚美主。

願一切的榮耀頌讚歸於我們滿有恩典憐憫的神！

在感恩節的前夕，一起數算神的恩典是最好不過的。感謝Justin  與我們分享感恩節的由來，帶出許多有趣的故事；之後，並帶領大家一起做Turkey Hand，亦把今年的感恩事項寫在上面。每當大家都數算神的恩典時，各人表情都相當喜樂，相信是因為大家都覺得我們的神實在太美好，但願弟兄姊妹在未來一年天天都存著一顆感恩的心，事事感恩，每時感恩。

在一一一一的特別日子下，活石決定出去走一走，做一下運動，特別安排去打保齡球。當天晚上，打球的人特別多，好不容易才拿到球道；大家在特別的燈光下，盡展球技，發現團契中打高保齡球的球技都當不錯。厲害！

“色,香,意,味大比併” 是一個烹飪比賽，顧名思義，比賽是按餸菜色澤、香味、味道，還有表達屬靈意義來評分。感謝芷諾為我們準備各樣的材料和題目，而餸菜主題分別是：雅各紅豆湯(創世記25章34節) 和嗎哪 (出埃及記 16章) 。四組按著自己餸菜的主題，了解經文，分配工作，完成一餸和一小食。最感恩的是Benny Kwong在當日清楚知道神的救恩後，決志歸向主。感謝讚美主!

十月二十八日 – “Board Game Night”

當天晚上的活動是玩Board Game: Monopoly,  Jenga, Sequence, Chinese Chess,PingPong…etc. 眼看弟兄姊妹玩得興高采烈，不亦樂乎，亦打破不少隔漠；但願神給我們更多智慧，透過遊戲，繼續增進友誼，從中亦互相肯定弟兄姊妹長處，亦能帶出更多屬靈意義。

石頭記- 十月份回顧

自從九月二十三日開始，活石團契革命性新嘗試，開始於UCI Student Center 聚會。主要原因有三：1) 是可以帶給許多UCI同學方便，他們從宿舍步行來參加團契，只需五至十五分鐘。2) 可以讓團契更多機會接觸社區，從而更多傳福音的機會。3) 減輕弟兄姊妹接送的負擔。這個嘗試，仍在觀察當中，但願神繼續帶領，給智慧、能力來推動福音工作，讓更多人成為主的門徒。

時間過得很快，眨眼已是學期中段，也是功課壓力漸漸增多的時候，願神為各學生力上加力，保守他們有健康身體，專注的心應付眼前的考驗。

十月二十一日 – “USC”

“USC” 的意思是指 “You！Self-Control” 題目就是聖靈的果子 - 節制。


加拉太書 5:22-23
22 聖靈所結的果子，就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、
23 溫柔、節制。這樣的事沒有律法禁止。


首先，邀請組員測試一下是否能控制自已的身體，例如：左右拇指和尾指的交替動作；左手前後推，右手上下鎚自己；紅白旗等，發現人似乎不一定能夠控制自己的身體。當天晚上，我們對自己的失控/不能控制自己的地方，有許多的反思和討論。從聖經當中，有許多方面的教導，1) 身體方面—懶惰、情慾；2) 情感方面—喜、怒、哀、樂；3) 生活方面—娛樂，理財，這些都需要時時被提醒，願神提醒們常在基督耶穌裡，祂必保守我們的心懷意念。

又到了一個月一次 Bible Study. 玩完幾個笑到肚痛之後的 ice breaking 遊戲, 發現大家不太懂數數. haha…


之後琳琳同 Jason 分別帶大家查考馬可福音6:14-29. 經文記載了無辜的施洗約翰被希律王殺的經過. 一切都是玩樂所至的禍呀!! 所以大家切勿玩過頭, 做/說些會令自己後悔的事, 以至樂極生悲呀!! 現時流行的遊戲，如Truth or Dare (真心話大冒險) ，Happy Corner (磨柱) 都是容易會樂極生悲的活動，請各位年青人三思！
